US Views on Technology in next 50 years

The United States of America is the leader in lot many technological advances. USA is the country where some of the most important breakthrough products are still being created. The iPhone came out of Cupertino.  Most of the revolutionary internet business incubated in United States example Facebook from Palo Alto, Sales force from sanfransico.

Recent  reports says funding for U.S. startup companies jumped 57% in the first quarter to a level not seen since 2001. Software companies received the most money — $4 billion. Biotech was a distant second with $1.06 billion. This indicates lots of new technological innovations coming out forth coming years.

The Pew Research Center and Smithsonian Magazine, conducted national survey on how American public anticipate that the technological developments of the coming half-century and they released their study report. In this many Americans optimistic on technological development but interestingly lots of people skeptical about some technologies that Google tech projects.

Nearly 59% believes of the people will technological and scientific changes will improve their life in future.  81%  of people expect that within the next 50 years people needing new organs, will have them custom grown in a lab, and half (51%) expect that computers will be able to create art that is indistinguishable from that produced by humans.

A 50 percent of Americans, not shown much interest to driver-less car, Autonomous vehicles, running on artificial intelligence. Google project that is closer to consumer fact than science fiction is Google Glass — the company’s internet-connected smart glasses. However Only 37% of Americans shows interest on wears implants or other devices that constantly show them information about the world around them. Rest 53% thought it would be a bad thing.
